Renowned employer
Outstanding employee benefits and a unique corporate culture have landed Quad/Graphics on FORTUNE magazine’s list of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" for the past two years running. The annual list, compiled for FORTUNE by Robert Levering and Milton Moskowitz of the Great Place to Work® Institute, most recently ranked Quad/Graphics #75 overall and #26 out of the 39 large companies within its list. The magazine cited, among other areas of excellence, our alternating three- and four-day work weeks as well as our onsite childcare and fitness centers.

In May 2005, Quad/Graphics was one of two companies to receive a prestigious Corporate Health Achievement Award (CHAA) for leadership in health and safety management. Presented by the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the CHAA assesses companies on key wellness criteria and is only awarded when merited.

Renowned manufacturer
Quad/Graphics was named Newsweek's Printer of the Year in 2006 to reflect our stellar performance producing the publication week in and week out. The achievement marks the 22nd consecutive time Quad/Graphics has earned the coveted distinction, which is based on final product quality, paper consumption, turnaround times and equipment speeds.

Enviro excellence
Quad/Graphics' progressive environmental policies regularly receive attention. In October 2006, we received an Environmental Excellence Award from the U.S. EPA SmartWay Transport Partnership for our outstanding achievements and leadership in reducing emissions of air pollutants and greenhouse gases from our freight transport activities. Quad/Graphics was one of 24 companies from among the Partnership’s more than 400 partners, and one of just four private fleets, to receive this distinction.

Meanwhile, the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) recently commended our efforts to increase paper recovery and recycling within our operations. In 2005, the organization presented us with its Business Leadership Recycling Award in recognition of the educational, innovative and cost-effective programs and partnerships we employ to ensure we’re capturing as much recyclable paper waste from our operations as possible.
