QuadWinkowski Announces Executive Leadership AppointmentSales Executive Tim Ohnmacht Named Managing Director
WYSZKÓW, POLAND, December 21, 2011 – QuadWinkowski, one of the largest and most modern printers in Europe, announces the appointment of Tim Ohnmacht as Managing Director. Ohnmacht had served as the company’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing since 2008.
“Tim has played a critical part in QuadWinkowski’s success and growth, and he understands the challenges and opportunities in front of our clients,” said Tom Frankowski, President of QuadWinkowski and Executive Vice President of Operations for USA-based Quad/Graphics. “Under Tim’s elevated leadership, QuadWinkowski will continue to enhance its service offerings by providing more innovative and cost-effective print-production solutions.”
As Managing Director in charge of the Management Board, Ohnmacht will direct QuadWinkowski’s strategic initiatives while supporting operations and growth plans. “We are very well equipped with a modern and dynamic print platform to help publishers and marketers become more competitive and reach their business goals,” Ohnmacht said.
Dariusz Tomczak, Vice President of Sales since the founding of Winkowski in 1998, will succeed Ohnmacht as the company’s lead Sales executive. Tomczak will continue working closely with Alicja Szyszka, QuadWinkowski’s International Sales Director.
About Tim Ohnmacht
During his 17-year career at Quad/Graphics, Ohnmacht has guided business development activities through key Sales roles on multiple continents. Most recently, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for QuadWinkowski, he was responsible for European business development. Previously he served as Quad/Graphics’ Vice President of Midwest Sales-U.S. for six years. Ohnmacht was instrumental in establishing Quad/Graphics’ International Sales and Production Department in the mid-1990s. He researched overseas joint-venture partners, including Winkowski, and introduced clients to international partners. Ohnmacht holds bachelors’ degrees in economics and Spanish from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
