Our color management technology and process ensure consistent, accurate color quality
Color management is key to ensure consistent quality. Our Imaging workflows utilize color management to generate optimized, consistent image files for any desired output. We use standard operating procedures and well-established workflows across every plant’s color operation. Our input and output devices are consistently calibrated and characterized (profiled). Our Regional Imaging Centers are equipped with the best color software, such as ORIS Color Tuner for our Epson digital inkjet proofers, and state-of-the-art color technology like our SoftProofX soft proofing system and our Quad-developed iSample and iMatch swatch-matching tools.
Color Services
- Color studios - Color Specialists work at client facility full time to correct color side-by-side with Art Directors.
- Virtual (soft) proofing - Using our internally developed soft proofing system, clients mark-up color onscreen, then send files to Imaging for Color Specialists to correct remotely, eliminating hard proofs.
- Regional Imaging Centers - Our Color Specialists work color for you in a traditional prepress workflow/relationship from one of our 12 state-of-the-art imaging facilities.
