Quad/Graphics is using social media to grow the business; not just to be part of the latest trend. The growth of social media has impacted the way organizations communicate. Social media marketing programs thrive on efforts to create content that attracts attention, generates online conversations, and encourages readers to share it with their social networks. Because of its accessibility, social media opens doors for organizations to increase their brand awareness and facilitate conversations.

how Quad/Graphics is using social media

Our social media strategy is based on these 5 categories: brand building, prospecting, sales education, market intelligence and recruiting.

Our strategy is to use multiple "touch points" in social media to drive interaction with our community of customers, prospects, and industry voices/players, etc. Our strategy is always evolving toward the best methods to grow our business most effectively. To pair the elements of our strategy with this objective, we are active in several social media communities.




Twitter is an open communication platform that allows users to interact based on 140-character messages. We use Twitter to find and engage the community of people interested in Quad/Graphics, in the business of print, and in media services.






Facebook is a social networking Website that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. Quad uses Facebook to publish content about our company, industry and media-related news, and it gives people who "like" Quad/Graphics a place to interact.






YouTube is a video-sharing Website on which users can upload and share videos. We post videos that are engaging and thought provoking on a variety of topics related to Quad/Graphics and our industry.





LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking site. We are educating our sales force on how to use LinkedIn effectively both personally and professionally. It allows us to build a network of employees, prospective employees and their contacts, and we can leverage that network of interconnected people to grow our business.






In addition to serving as our public source of information about our company and industry, QG.com is also being used to drive interactivity around content such as blog posts, press releases, etc.
