Just-in-Time Savings Save Marketing Dollars with Just-in-Time NCOALink®
Between the time you finalize your mailing list and finish your marketing piece, many of your intended recipients have moved. Those wasted mailings translate to wasted marketing dollars.
Quad/Graphics’ just-in-time marketing strategies prevent wasted mail and optimize your marketing dollars.
According to the USPS National Change of Addresses (NCOA), 39 million Americans, or about 17 percent of the population, changed addresses last year. Almost 33 percent of them never reported their new addresses to the USPS. With the changing economic landscape, the number of people moving is likely to climb steeply. It will become even more difficult to hit these rapidly moving targets.
All this at a time when postage costs are skyrocketing. Postage represented almost 40 percent, or $2.8 billion, of total direct mail spend in 2007. Recent and upcoming USPS rate raises mean that postage costs will grow to an even more significant proportion of mail budgets. Obviously, marketers can no longer afford the wasted cost of duplicated mailings, incorrect addresses, or even delivering to the wrong person at the wrong time.
