Founded in 1948, Dick’s Sporting Goods is a full-line retailer offering a broad assortment of brand-name sporting goods equipment, apparel, footwear and accessories in a specialty store environment. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., the company operates 574 locations across the U.S., including sub-brands Golf Galaxy, Field & Stream and True Runner.
As a rapidly growing company, Dick’s continues to enter new markets, requiring the retailer to produce an increasing number of marketing campaigns concurrently. The company needed a partner to augment its existing creative department, manage peak catalog and insert production cycles more efficiently and manage costs, while also looking for help to increase its photography services.

As a partner, we helped Dick’s more efficiently manage a high volume of overflow projects, including catalogs and inserts. We also grew with the company to manage additional brands. With our proprietary Retail Studio™ software, our on-site team of professionals helped the retailer streamline workflow, improve effectiveness and increase accuracy of page production. We also introduced Dick’s to our digital asset management system, which holds all its assets for easy access by the entire team, and our photography services including in-studio and on-location shoots. All in all, we created a more robust digital asset offering for the retailer as the company continues to grow.
Supplementing Dick’s own creative and production teams with our dedicated on-site professionals, our efforts allowed the retailer to better handle concurrent campaigns and peak production schedules. Dick’s considers the partnership a critical part of its success, and credits our expertise with creating a smooth process for adding and growing teams. This has enabled top-line growth and empowered the desired support in developing the Golf Galaxy and Field & Stream brands.
